Everyone wishes to build a beautiful house that is free from Vastu doshas, bringing peace, prosperity, and good health. However, when it comes to home construction, there is an ambiguity regarding the structures and its directions to be built. To simplify this we have compiled our authentic Vastu Shastra knowledge into 16 essential directional zones (Padas) for your reference. Kindly refer to the zones 1 to 16 in the below list as shown in the above image. Here we have divied every main direction into 4 zones.
House Constrcution-16 Vastu Points
- East of Northeast (Zones 1): This is a highly sacred zone. Ideal for placing an open well, borewell, water sump, Pooja room, main entrance gate, Main door, cellar, verandah, living space, drawing portico, or porch.
- East - elevated position (Uccha Sthan) (Zones 2): Ideal for placing an open well, borewell, water sump, pooja mandir, gobargas, septic tank, cellar, the holy Basil (Tulsi) plant, and flower plants.
- East - debilitated (Neecha Sthan)position (Zones 3): Recommended for gobargas, septic tank (lowered to the ground), cellar, dining for family nourishment, store room, and small householdr plants for psotivie cosmic rays.
- East of Southeast (Zone 4): The primary and most auspicious area for the Kitchen, boilers, electricity meters, and main staircases, bathrooms or toilets under staricases or isolated bathrooms or toilets, trees.
- South of Southeast (Zone 5): Best suited for the Kitchen, main gate, living space, drawing room, office space, toilets, portico, and tree plantations. (main gate, living space, portico to be builtd only if space unavailable in northeast or north)
- South - elevated position (Uccha Sthan) (Zone 6): Suitable for constructing an entrance, gate, drawing room, bed room, store room, dining, tree plantations, stair cases, office room, and portico. (Note: It is best to avoid toilets in this highly positive area).
- South - Central Zone (Zone 7): An ideal recommendation for a bedroom, attached toilets, grain storage, store room, and internal staircases and tree plantations.
- South of Southwest (Zone 8): Best suited for master bedroom, store room, office space, internal stair cases, warehouses, godowns, overhead water tank, out house, and planting large trees.
- Southwest Corner (Zones 9): The ultimate zone for the Master Bedroom (Yajamana Sthanam). Moreover, highly suitable for heavy store rooms, godowns, machinery, overhead water tanks, outhouse, and tall, strong trees.
- West of Southwest (Zone 10): Suitable for a children's bedroom, heavy wardrobes, store rooms, and staircases attached to the wall and attached toilets.
- West - elevated position (Uccha Sthan) (Zone 11): An auspicious area for a west-facing main entrance, gate, drawing room, dining hall, living room, toilets, trees, and main staircases.
- West of Northwest (Zone 12): Highly recommended for Main door, main gate, drawing room, living space, guest bedroom, cattle shed, toilets, grain storage room, and portico.
- North of Northwest (Zone 13): The scientifically recommended zone for constructing toilets and bathrooms, septic tanks, gobargas, living rooms, and placing small plants with walls untouched.
- North - debilitated (Neecha Sthan) position (Zone 14): An excellent space for a children's bedroom, study room, dining hall, living room, attached toilets, and beautiful flowering plants.
- North - elevated position (Uccha Sthan) (Zone 15): A highly auspiciouss location for a north-facing main entrance, gate, underground water sump, drawing room, Pooja mandir, open verandah, cellar, and a Tulsi kota, small plants.
- North of Northeast (Zone 16): The most authentic zone for a grand main entrance (Simha Dwaram), open well, borewell, underground water tank, dedicated Pooja room, cellar, living space, sit-out and an open portico.
వాస్తు శాస్త్రం ప్రకారము గృహమును నిర్మించాలనే ఆలోచన అందరికి ఉంటుంది. అయితే గృహ నిర్మాణ విషయములో ఏయే నిర్మాణాలను ఏ దిశల్లో శాస్త్రోక్తంగా అమర్చుకోవాలనే విషయములో చాలామందికి అనేక ధర్మసందేహాలు కలుగుతుంటాయి. ఈ విషయమును పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకుని, అందరికీ సులభంగా అర్థమయ్యేలా మాకున్న వాస్తు శాస్త్ర జ్ఞానముతో ప్రామాణికంగా ఇక్కడ 16 ముఖ్యమైన అంశాల (పదాల) రూపంలో పొందుపరచడమైనది.
గృహ నిర్మాణం - వాస్తు నియమం
- తూర్పు ఈశాన్యం (Zone 1): ఇది అత్యంత పవిత్రమైన స్థానం. ఇక్కడ బావి, బోరింగ్ (బోర్వెల్), అండర్గ్రౌండ్ వాటర్ సంప్, పూజ గది, ప్రధాన ప్రవేశ ద్వారం (గేటు), సింహద్వారం (Main door), సెల్లార్, వరండా, లివింగ్ స్పేస్, డ్రాయింగ్ పోర్టికో లేదా పోర్చ్ అమర్చుకోవడానికి ఇది అత్యంత అనుకూలమైన స్థానం.
- తూర్పు - ఉచ్ఛ స్థానం (Zone 2): బావి, బోరింగ్, వాటర్ సంప్, పూజ మందిరం, గోబర్ గ్యాస్, సెప్టిక్ ట్యాంక్, సెల్లార్, పవిత్రమైన తูลసి కోట మరియు పూల మొక్కలు ఏర్పాటు చేసుకోవడానికి ఇది అనుకూలమైన స్థానం.
- తూర్పు - నీచ స్థానం (Zone 3): గోబర్ గ్యాస్, సెప్టిక్ ట్యాంక్, సెల్లార్, కుటుంబ పోషణ కొరకు డైనింగ్ రూమ్, స్టోర్ రూమ్ మరియు సానుకూల విశ్వ కిరణాల కొరకు చిన్న చిన్న గృహ మొక్కలను పెంచడానికి ఇది సిఫార్సు చేయబడిన స్థానం.
- తూర్పు ఆగ్నేయం (Zone 4): వంటగది, బాయిలర్స్, ఎలక్ట్రిసిటీ మీటర్లు, ప్రధాన మెట్లు (Staircases), మెట్ల కింద వచ్చే బాత్రూమ్లు లేదా టాయిలెట్లు, లేదా విడిగా ఉండే బాత్రూమ్లు/టాయిలెట్లు మరియు చెట్లు పెంచడానికి ఇది ప్రాథమిక మరియు అత్యంత శుభప్రదమైన స్థానం.
- దక్షిణ ఆగ్నేయం (Zone 5): వంటగది, ప్రధాన గేటు, లివింగ్ స్పేస్, డ్రాయింగ్ రూమ్, ఆఫీస్ రూమ్, టాయిలెట్లు, పోర్టికో మరియు చెట్లు నాటడానికి ఇది ఉత్తమమైనది. (గమనిక: ఈశాన్యం లేదా ఉత్తరంలో అవకాశం లేనప్పుడు మాత్రమే ఇక్కడ ప్రధాన గేటు, లివింగ్ స్పేస్, పోర్టికోలను నిర్మించాలి).

- దక్షిణ - మధ్య భాగం (Zone 7): పడక గది, అటాచ్డ్ టాయిలెట్లు, ధాన్యపు గది (Storage), స్టోర్ రూమ్, లోపలి నుండి మెట్లు (Internal staircases) మరియు చెట్లు నాటడానికి ఇది అత్యంత మంగళప్రదము.
- దక్షిణ నైరుతి (Zone 8): మాస్టర్ బెడ్రూమ్, స్టోర్ రూమ్, ఆఫీస్ స్థలం, లోపలి నుండి మెట్లు, వేర్హౌస్లు, గోడౌన్లు, ఓవర్ హెడ్ వాటర్ ట్యాంక్, అవుట్ హౌస్ మరియు పెద్ద చెట్లను నాటడానికి ఇది బాగా సరిపోతుంది.

- పశ్చిమ నైరుతి (Zone 10): పిల్లల పడక గది, బరువైన అల్మారాలు (Wardrobes), స్టోర్ రూములు, గోడకు ఆనుకుని ఉండే మెట్లు మరియు అటాచ్డ్ టాయిలెట్లకు ఇది అనుకూలమైన స్థానం.
- పశ్చిమం - ఉచ్ఛ స్థానం (Zone 11): పశ్చిమ ముఖ ప్రధాన ప్రవేశ ద్వారం, గేటు, డ్రాయింగ్ రూమ్, డైనింగ్ హాల్, లివింగ్ రూమ్, టాయిలెట్లు, చెట్లు మరియు ప్రధాన మెట్ల కొరకు ఇది ఒక మంగళప్రదమైన స్థానం.
- పశ్చిమ వాయువ్యం (Zone 12): సింహద్వారం (Main door), ప్రధాన గేటు, డ్రాయింగ్ రూమ్, లివింగ్ స్పేస్, అతిధి పడక గది (Guest bedroom), పశువుల శాల (Cattle shed), టాయిలెట్లు, ధాన్యపు నిల్వ గది మరియు పోర్టికో కొరకు శాస్త్రీయంగా సిఫార్సు చేయబడింది.

- ఉత్తర - ఉచ్ఛ స్థానం (Zone 15): ఉత్తర ముఖ ప్రధాన ప్రవేశ ద్వారం (సింహద్వారం), గేటు, వాటర్ సంప్, డ్రాయింగ్ రూమ్, పూజ మందిరం, ఓపెన్ వరండా, సెల్లార్, తులసి కోట మరియు చిన్న మొక్కలను పెంచడానికి ఇది అత్యంత శుభప్రదమైన స్థానం.
